She is survived by her children: Mark Byrd, Steven Byrd, Buddy Jr. (Brenda) Smith, and Cory (April) Smith; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Buddy R. Smith; great-grandson Hunter; sister Kaye; and brothers Elray, R. Von, and Clemont.
She retired from the Tooele Army Depot. She was an avid reader, loved her family, dogs, and lunch dates with her friends.
Graveside services will be held in her honor on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Tooele Cemetery. We would like to invite family and friends to celebrate her life following the service, location will be announced.
