Biffle, a 39-year-old native of Vancouver, Wash., is the only driver in NASCAR history to win both the NASCAR Nationwide Series (2002) and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (2000) championships, and the only driver to win Raybestos Rookie of the Year awards in both series.
He has amassed 12 Sprint Cup wins since making his series debut in 2002. He is currently seventh in the 2008 championship standings with two poles, six top-five finishes and eight top-10 finishes. He recently signed a three-year contract extension with Roush-Fenway Racing that will keep him with the team through 2011.
Biffle will arrive at Miller Motorsports Park at 3 p.m. and will serve as a Celebrity Guest Coach for the Miller Performance Training Center’s Ford Racing High Performance Driving School from 4-9 p.m.
On Tuesday Biffle will give hot laps in one of the Ford Racing High Performance Driving School’s Mustang Challenge cars for Miller Motorsports Park club members.
During his visit, Biffle will have a chance to sample all of Miller Motorsports Park’s racing vehicles, including karts on the Miller Kart Track and a variety of vehicles including the Ford GT, Ford Mustang FR500S from the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup and Ford Mustang FR500C from the Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series.
The public is invited to come out and spectate during Biffle’s appearance. There will be no admission fee for fans for this event.
