Mason Lynn Halligan will receive Boy Scouts’ highest honor, the Eagle Scout award on Sunday, March 8 at 6 p.m. at the Pine Canyon church building. For his project he organized a food drive for the Adopt-a-Native Elder program. This program provides necessities for native elders still living traditional ways in the four corners area of Utah and surrounding states. He would like to thank all those who contributed food, money and most of all, time, to make his project a success. He is the fourth of the Halligan boys (men) to receive this honor. Mason is the son of Mitch and Susan Halligan.
