1921-2007

 

Papa Bevan passed away June 7, 2007 in his home surrounded by family. He was born in Tooele on January 3, 1921 to Joseph Elkington and Anna Bertha Sterzer Bevan. He married Gloria Billie England 56 years ago this September and they were sealed in the Oakland Temple. Norm is survived by his wife, his son and daughter-in-law Conrad Scott and Karen Bevan; grandchildren Doug and Natalie Seely, Brandon and Hillary Collette and Jordan Scott Bevan (serving a mission in Guatemala); great grandchildren Ben, Kate and Dylan; siblings Richard Wallace Bevan, Emma Lu Lister and JoAnn Harvey. Preceded in death were his parents, granddaughter Nicole Bevan, sister June Garrard and brother Jay Bevan.

Norm served in the Army Air Force during WWII and retired in Civil Service as a foreman at Sacramento Army Depot after working there 32 years.

Funeral Services were held on Monday June 11 at the North Tooele Stake Center.
