Disappointed Democrat

I’m a registered Democrat, and have lived in Tooele for roughly three years now, and must admit that I’m very disappointed with the local Democratic party. We have an opportunity this year, in this election cycle, to make history in this country, and yet I have seen no activity on the part of the local party. Granted, we live in a state that will in all probability send it’s electoral votes to Sen. McCain, but that is no excuse for apathy at this level. History is made by people, ordinary people, making extraordinary things happen. This is a call-out to Tooele County Democrats: it’s time for action. Can we make a difference? The only way to find out is to get active and make it happen. Apathy will only leave us where we are now.

From the “Darling of the Leftist Liberal Democrats”.

Please, tell them this cannot be true, lol.

Bill Clinton blaming the current financial crisis on the Democrats!

Going very much against the media meme that the current financial crisis is all George W. Bush and the Republicans' fault, Bill Clinton on Thursday told ABC's Chris Cuomo that Democrats for years have been "resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac"

John McCain tried to put through a reform bill in 2005 that was blocked by Democrats. President Bush issued multiple warnings this year – 17 to be exact.

Democrats are blaming it all on President Bush and trying to push the tab on the taxpayers. Bill Clinton at least had the guts to speak the truth

PUCK!!!

Obama makes me sick, as he should most people. How blind are people?

I am not necessarily voting for one candidate, but I am definitely voting against the other. Slim pickings but I will take the one over the other, at least my rights as an american will stay intact!

I think the problem is no one is pleased with the candidates running in the general election. No one is excited about a man who has less than 150 days as a senator, with Muslim affiliations, Hussein as a middle name and is a talking head for the "elite" celebrity group. Wait another four years and maybe interest will resume.

Take heart Bob, there are 9 thumbs up on your Letter. Wow! You know you oughta mention the Cold War to people you meet. Get into the history of the county. There was a big Sheep kill in 1969 when Dugway accidently(?) let a bunch of nerve gas get out in Skull Valley during a test of some munitions. The county used to be largely Democratic because of the large population of Civil Service people. You know that Barack Obama went to Elko, He should have gone to Wells. We're praying for you out here in Reno.
