Born July 21, 1923 in Kamas, Utah to Con J. and Mary Jane O’Driscoll. Raised in Bridgeland, Utah, eldest of nine children. Married Carol B. Stott June 11, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Children: Mark E. O’Driscoll (Sheila), Paula K. O’Driscoll, Mary Jane O’Driscoll; grandchildren Shawn K. O’Driscoll, Kevin E. O’Driscoll; daughter Kathy and three grandchildren from a former marriage.
Elden served in World War II in Germany with the 71st infantry, trained in the mule pack division, packing artillery. He thrived in the outdoors. He worked for the US Forest Service, and was self employed in the livestock business. Elden enjoyed hunting and camping. His hobby was knot work and braiding.
