Loving husband, father and grandfather, Brent J Duncan, age 71, passed away on April 29, 2010 due to complications of cancer. Brent was called to his Heavenly home to be reunited with his son Wesley Brent Duncan, amongst many other dear family members. Brent was born on Dec. 16, 1938 in Price, Utah to Penn T. and Minnie Esther (Taylor) Duncan.

Brent was a strong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Serving with a generous heart to all those who had opportunity to cross his path.

He served three years in the United States Army, in the 101st Airborne Division. Serving in Korea, he met adventures head on while para-trooping from aircrafts.

He worked 45+ years in the trucking industry as a dedicated employee for McFarland and Hullinger, as well as for Broken Arrow. Built many lasting relationships, whom have touched our lives, as much as dad touched theirs.

The love of his life was his wife, Donna (Marsing) Duncan. They have shared many wondrous adventures in their 49 years of marriage. Moving to new homes and cities, camping, 4-wheeling and attending their children and grandchildren’s events and activities.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Brenda Fawn (Dean) Jones, St. George, Utah; Burlene Duncan (Thomas) Greer, Heber, Utah; eight granddaughters, one grandson; sisters LuJuan (ReyLloyd) Hatt, Green River, Utah; Cuma (Earl) Johnson, Parowan, Utah; and Clea Duncan, Antiock, Calif.

Preceded in death by his beloved son Wesley Brent Duncan, three sisters and four brothers.

Our Dad’s example was true Christ-like behavior. We are indebted to his loving generous heart. We will miss our Dad tremendously! Thank you Dad.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 4 at the LDS Skyline Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
