Bob was born Feb. 5, 1933. He died Feb. 15, 2008, after a long illness. After graduating from the University of Utah, Bob proudly served as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corp. Bob was the pharmacist and owner of the Grantsville Drug, he cheerfully served the health needs for the people of Grantsville for nearly 50 years.

Bob Halladay never met someone who didn?t become his friend. Bob?s love of fishing was only exceeded by his devotion to the University of Utah.

Bob and his first wife, Arlene Johnson had one son, Larry (Evon) Halladay. They later divorced. Bob and his second wife, Patrice Anderson had one daughter, Bobbi Jo Halladay.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Sterl and Sue Halladay. He is survived by brothers, Don (Hildi) Halladay and Clare (Karen) Halladay; sister, Marilyn Grant; and many adoring nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Tate Mortuary in Tooele. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m., in the Grantsville West Stake Center, 115 E. Cherry St. A viewing will also be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the services. Internment at Grantsville City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
