Ducks Unlimited banquet

The Tooele County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited has slated their 31st annual banquet for Friday.

The banquet will be held at 6 p.m. at the Eagle's Nest. The event will feature a raffle with many great prizes including shotguns, a layout blind and decoys. There will also be an auction and silent auction featuring signed limited edition art work and other great items.

Tickets are $65 a couple or $45 single. Tickets include prime rib dinner and $25 DU membership.

Ducks Unlimited has long been recognized as the world's largest and most successful waterfowl and wetlands conservation organization, with a current membership well over 700,000. DU's conservation projects occur throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Carribean, and Latin America - wherever waterfowl breed, migrate or winter. Dozens of species of ducks, geese and swans rely on this critical habitat year-round. Just last year, Ducks Unlimited announced the Utah Waterfowl Initiative. Many Utah projects are now being planned and implemented and many more DU dollars will be spent locally.

For more information or to purchase a tickets contact Rob Jensen at 882-0973 or Teri Critchlow at 830-8090.
