Our Papulya
Our loving father passed away on Feb. 29, 2008, of natural causes.
Chris Royal was born on Jan. 10, 1926, in Salt Lake City, to Harry and Mary Royal. He was raised in Hunter, Utah, and later served in the U.S. Navy during World War II where he received the Royal Order of the Deep and became a radio communications operator. He later met and married Dorothy Marie Siders and they had three children and one stepson. Being of Greek descent, he instilled in his children a sense of pride, love and respect. He loved all of us very much. He loved to play the guitar and sing. He also loved to fish and hunt; he was a man of many talents. He worked at the Tooele Army Depot for 24 years. He was loved by many and will be missed by all of us. He spent his twilight years in Grantsville, where he was content. He spent time hunting for gold, which he loved to do when he was younger.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank Royal. He is survived by three brothers and three sisters; four children, David Royal, Chris Royal, Rodney Evans and Connie Royal Stephenson; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
