The Cowboys sent nine players to the plate in the first inning. Mark White, Kort Fonger, Alex Childs, Austin Killpack and Taylor Matthews scored consecutive runs in the opening stanza.
After White walked, Fonger singled and then Childs, Killpack and Taylor Clark all ripped doubles to give Grantsville some strong offensive punch to open the game.
Kit Harris singled to start the second, went to second when White was hit by a pitch and scored on a Ben Lomond error to push the Cowboys' lead to 6-0.
Tyson Hutchins scored Grantsville's seventh run in the fourth after walking. He stole second and scored on a single by Fonger to make it 7-0.
The Cowboys added another run in the top of the fifth when Killpack tripled to start the inning and Matthews belted an RBI single to make it 8-0.
The Scots scored their only run in the bottom of the fifth, and had two runners on base with two outs. But Cole fielded a grounder and threw to first to end the inning.
White came on in relief to pitch the final two innings for the Cowboys with Matthews taking over the catching duties.
Hutchins smacked a homer over the left-center field wall to increase Grantsville's lead to 9-1 after six innings. Clark, Ryley Boman and Hutchins all scored runs in the seventh to make the final 12-1.
