New post office needed

I was at the Post Office on three different occasions in the morning one day recently. Each time there was a line of considerable length. The first time only one window was open, the clerk was helping someone and I wondered why only one window was open with so many people needing help. The clerk said the cause of the delay was the main computer being down. I needed to find out the amount of postage to mail a letter to my sons — one in southern California and one in Mexico. She told me that she couldn't tell me the price to send to Mexico because she did not know the exact weight or amount of the package. When I returned an hour later the line was longer than the first visit, so I left again to run another errand, then returned again. This time I stood waiting for about 15 minutes when I got to one of the three open windows, but I got the same clerk as I had the first time. I asked her when Tooele City was going to get a new Post Office. She said as far as she knew, no land had been purchased. She also mentioned said she was retiring soon, so she really didn't care. I, for one, do care and do not want this to happen again. We need a new post office. Preferably one with no steps to scale, especially during the winter months with ice and snow.
