Gloria Donna Dickerson, 46, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Salt Lake City. She was born on Aug. 2, 1961, in Tooele, to Edward A. Quijano and Dee Ortega. She married Curtis Jensen in September of 1977. They later divorced. She married Joe Dickerson on Aug. 28, 1985. They also later divorced.
She loved to read with a glass of wine and enjoyed being on the beach. She was a caring mother and also a best friend to her two daughters. She had a kind soul and a generous heart and will be with her girls always as their guardian angel.
She is survived by two daughters, Christy VanRoosendaal and Megan (Ron) Kissler; mother, Dee Ortega; father, Edward A. Quijano; sister, Debra (Tim) Martell; brother, Eddie (Paula) Quijano; four nephews and two great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jacob and Andrellita Ortega; and niece, Stacy VanWinkle.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008, at 2 p.m., at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
